has been presented its products with the

valuable thing we can attain during 75 years of being active
in procuring and presenting saffron, we are bound to have a
precision control on saffron as a complicated process from
farm to market.

Saharkhiz Saffron Complex takes measure on establishing a
well equipped laboratory for the implementation of its
quality objectives and we have been successful to obtain the
Iranian National Standard bearing number 259-1 from the
Iranian Standard and Industrial Research Institute and also
the international certificates HACCP ISO 9001-2000 from SGS.
All the products of our complex, after that they are
confirmed by the quality control unit, are produced and
packed under a complete hygienic conditions, using the most
modern technology and utilizing the experienced experts, to
meet the public needs for a products which is totally in
accordance with the national and international standards.
Through the said process, saffron is marked with ID card and
code which are printed on the final packs and all the
saffron produced are under the control at each production
stage.
After that the sampling is done, the laboratory tests are
conducted for each code for the products additives color,
percent of moisture, power of color, amount of bitterness,
saffranol as well as microbial tests and the like.
The results of all the tests are considered for a period of
three months periodically by the quality control unit to
improve our products quality and to select the best
suppliers.
Through the establishment and implementation of the
international standard HACCP, we make our best efforts to
control all the critical points of quality.
