Saharkhiz Saffron, as a producing unit
always placing an emphasis on Quality in its
activities, in response to the customers’
ever-increasing confidence and demand, and
in line with implementation of the company’s
quality aims, has established an equipped
laboratory, and has managed to obtain
national standard No. 1-259 from Institute
of Standard and Industrial Research of Iran,
as well as international certifications of
HACCP and ISO 9001:2000 from SGS. |

To satisfy the public need to quality products meeting the
requirements of national and international standards, the
company produces and packages all its products, after being
approved by the Quality Control Unit, in a completely
hygienic environment with the aid of advanced technology and
endeavors of dedicated personnel and experts.
For a better tracking in this system, each saffron batch is
given an ID and code once entering the production line. The
said ID and code will be printed on the end product, and in
this way all saffron lots used in each stage of the
production can be traced and controlled. After sampling,
different tests such as tests for measuring added color,
moisture content, coloring strength, bitterness and
saffranol (as saffron aroma index) as well as microbial
tests are conducted.
The results of the tests are analyzed every three months by
the Quality Control Unit, and the outcome has a decisive
role in identifying quality saffron providers, promoting the
quality of the products and, as an end result, winning the
customers’ satisfaction. |

Co.
As a producing unit always considering the fundamental
principle of quality as top priority in its activities,
Saharkhiz Saffron Co. produces and packages products which
meet the requirements of the national standard of Iran,
(259-1), as well as international standards. The products
are produced and packaged in accordance with the relevant
codes and regulations by our dedicated experienced personnel
and experts under hygienic conditions and with the latest
technology and equipment. In line with this strategy, to
attain the lofty aims of the Company, the senior management
of Saharkhiz Saffron Co. Pays special attention to the
following points:
• Strategy of wining satisfaction of customers more and more
through supplying products and services they need.
• Promote the level of specialized training provided to all
personnel
• Supplying hygienic and healthy products up to national and
international standards, and prevent any deviation from
standard requirements. At the same time, strict adherence
to providing all necessary sources such as proper
infrastructure, qualified human resources, and suitable
worksite.
• Non-stopping quality improvement as the basis of the
company’s quality management system, and assessment of its
efficiency through implementation of quality policy, setting
quality aims, conducting audits, data analysis, taking
corrective and preventive measures, and performing
managerial review.
The senior management of the company is responsible for
implementation of quality management and food safety and
hygienic systems. In performing the assigned tasks, esteemed
colleagues and staff are expected to pay attention to the
requirements of 1S09001:2000 and HACCP. |
